| That's a very poor analogy. Take a stroll into Peshawar University some day and witness for yourself hijab and burkha girls and their boyfriends. Modesty is in the heart and the mind (err, mind mostly). What you wear has nothing to do with it. Ghairat, nang, haya and all those things are either instilled in your mind and you believe in them or they're not - you can put on a thousand burkhas but still a fly-catcher. Perhaps such pictures (or should I call them advertisements) should be posted on Arab-culture forums. These are Pashtun forums. "Knowledge will forever govern ignorance; and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge gives". |
