ARC Group, a Gorizia-based company owned by two Slovenians, has made the world's biggest Quran.

The book ornamented with more than a hundred precious stones was transported from Italian city Gorizia to its destination, one of the biggest mosques in Russia's Kazan.

The book, which cost exceeded one million euro, is produced by the ARC Group owned by Novogoricanov Nedjana and Cernetic Bratasevca.

The Quran size is 200x150 centimeters and weighs 500 pounds. The base is made ​​of Russian wood birch, and covered with calf leather. The cover’s edges are decorated with gold, panels of malachite, and precious stones.

On the front cover, the book is decorated with Turquoise; corners are dressed with coral powder, and total of 113 precious and semi precious stones.
