NATO Caught Telling Lies About Deaths of 12-yr-old Afghan Girl, Afghan Policeman

May 14, 2011
By LBG1
NATO issues apologies for deaths, doesn't issue apology for lying about the facts

Less than 2 weeks after the American public learned the White House had given misleading information about the Navy Seals Bin Laden raid in Pakistan, the news NATO lied about the deaths of a 12-yr-old Afghanistan girl and her uncle, an Afghan policeman, during a nighttime raid by NATO troops ‘just outside Jalalabad, the largest city in eastern Afghanistan’.
In a report from the New York Times, the details of the NATO raid and NATO’s initial statement about the attack. A statement that contained lies about what really happened in the attack. Part of the claim, eerily similar to the initial claim by White House about Bin Laden’s death, and what really happened. And, the aftermath, an apology from NATO after NATO had initially made false statements about what occurred. The apology, ‘Sorry we targeted the wrong house’ but no apologies we issued a statement chock full of lies of what really went down to cover up the deadly facts’.
The facts:
During a recent attack ‘on the wrong house’ NATO troops threw a grenade into the courtyard of a home outside of Jalalabad. Shrapnel from the grenade killed a 12-yr-old girl sleeping the courtyard. NATO troops then shot and killed her uncle, an Afghan policeman, who was shot once in the head and twice in the chest.
NATO targeted the house because they erroneously believed the policeman was a Taliban leader.
NATO then issued a false statement about the deaths of the girl and her uncle.
New York Times:
NATO issued a statement that said she had been shot. “An individual ran out the back of the compound toward the outer security perimeter and was killed when the security force mistakenly identified what they suspected was a weapon on the individual,” it said. “Later, the force discovered the individual was an unarmed Afghan female adolescent.”
And,
The NATO statement said Mr. Shukrullah was shot because he was armed and had threatened the troops. “One man then threatened the security force with a pistol; the security force defended themselves, killing the man.”
Chances are when living in Afghanistan if you hear a loud explosion in your front courtyard you might, if you have a weapon, try to defend yourself from whoever threw the grenade. According to sources, Shukrullah didn’t fire a shot. He was also the only person shot and killed by the NATO troops in a home occupied by male relatives of Shukrullah. Even though other males were in the house, the only male occupant killed, the same man erroneously targeted as a Taliban leader by NATO troops.
The sordid tragic tale yet another instance of NATO, U.S. troops and the CIA in the long, drawn out fight against ‘terrorism’ killing innocent Afghanistan and Pakistan civilians-the CIA engaged in ‘surgical’ predator drone strikes in Pakistan.

The NDS is funded and backed by the CIA. The ANA appears to be a proxy of the US army - its not going to happen.

Taliban is made up of mostly 20-40 years olds who have only seen war in Afghanistan their whole lives. They don't care about Pakistan.

WHy don't you pick up an AK, and fight for ANP-PMAP instead of smelling ferangi fart? I know you like the fart of the ferangi very much.

WHy don't you join the Americans and live with them on their bases?

wikileaks also talks about the close links between the taliban and the isi.

the ana also comprises of 20-40 yr olds, who mostly dont care about american imperialism.

Beware the Salafi Man, for he is the Devil's pawn. Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport or lust or greed. Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land. Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert of his home and yours. Shun him; drive him back into his jungle lair, for he is the harbinger of death.
