Afghansoulja the reason FCR is in place is because FATA serves as a buffer zone and a strategic tool for pakistan proper (britain before them). If you want to destabilize Afghanistan or Pashutnkhwa, then FATA is the best place to strategically do that. This is why pak intelligentsia has kept it as it is for strategic purposes. A free undefended border for them and one they used for strategic depth. Obviously it is the poor people of Mianzanee pashtunkhwa(fata) that suffer under the mumlikate khudaade muslimeen ->pakistan/
