My cousin came some weeks ago,i was some months before there.

I am aware about the Zazi connection,but the presence declined in paktya province.

We had some in Zurmat district and in Zazi,but they were only a handful men.

Paktyawals are taking care of Hekmatyar and his men,because we can't trust him.

I heard from Hizbe Islami members from Aryub that quite a large faction of the tribe is with Hizbe Islami. Both on the Hekmatyars side aswell as the government side.

Plus its not just Zurmatis, there are even Zadran tribesmen who are still active as members of Hizb. In north Paktia, and Azrakyan still support Hizb.

Similarly in Logar, there are quite a few villages of Ahmadzi who support Hizb.

there are alot of hezbi in paktia. hezbi are mostly opportunists that fight for the highest bidder. Hekmatyar would be with the government right now if the US invited him to bonn in 2001. But knowing his personality, he would want the highest or best seat.

These are common Pashtuns revolting against Taleban because they think their right to education, roads, health, etc. and the security of their future generations is denied/undermined by the Taleban---So don't try to mitigate the negative image with propaganda...Thanks.

Although I agree with you but in a way it is good to let these guys run their mouths because they always say contradictory things; Just yesterday Khushal was saying that Paktiawal loved and adored the Taliban and embraced them; Even though Khostai quickly shut down such claims as did I. Now he's back tracking and saying Paktiawals are Hizbe Islami who can be paid off. The constant changing of stories is good because when collected and shown side to side a very powerful and damaging case can be made.

I agree there are some Zadrans aswell,but most of his supporters were from tribes based in Zazai and Zurmat,and north of Paktya,Logar and Kapisa both have a presence of Hizbe Islam.People who once supported him from Paktya or were member in his clan left all to join the Islamic Emirate.

As i said,the locals do not trust him,he switchsides faster than the changing of the weather in Europe.

One thing is for him clear,whenever he turns his weapon toward the Islamic emirate or his men,he will end up as we have seen other Warlords.
