A Pukhtun who leaves the religion of Islam and embrace something else does not deserve to be called Pukhtun... Because Pukhtun and Islam are must.

hate to break it you but one is a set of beliefs that can be changed, the other is race that one is born with and can not be changed... Pashtuns can be whatever they please to be just as there are non muslim arabs...

on this site u have people who are saying racist things to arabs for no reason in every post, like "camel" and things and there are people here who say they are "secular (kafir) and pakhtun at the same time" but what is that??? its like saying "i am apple and orange" lol. atleast even if you are not muslim, you should not say bad things about others.

That is an overstatement and, therefore, contestible...The ideological inspiration for Pashtun Nationalists comes from within ---from the mere existence of Pashtun reality ---and from the consciousness in Pashtuns of a separate nationhood with distinct culture, history, values, etc....and distinct destiny.....

That is why, whenever, Pashtun nationalists talk, they use Pashtun symbolism in their political rhetoric and make a mention to Pashtun historical figures that have any role in the promotion and assertion of Pashtun national identity e.g., Mir Wais Nikka, Ahmad Shah Baba, Khushal Baba, etc....

Islamists on the other hand derive their inspiration from foreign ideologies mostly politicllay motiavted ...and draw upon broader notions like Muslim Ummah, Muslim brotherhood, etc. They try to suppress Pashtun national identity and re-interpret Pashtun history as history of Islam in attempt to emphasize the primacy of Islam over ethnicity and culture in Pashtun national existance (under the influence of politically motivated foreign ideologies.).

I wonder how could you make such an un-thoughtful comment...
