Why would we need Baluchistan? Baluch have their own identity. Also, Zahir Shah's family and Aman-deep family are the same family. Aman-deep is Zahir Shah's uncle.

seriously, are you sure you're Afghan?

Do you want to be landlocked forever? Anyways today I would not take Baluchistan since they are fighting so hard for freeeom I doubt they want anything else but their own nation. But back then I'm sure they would be happy to be apart of Afghanistan.

It doesn't matter if he's his uncle. I'm talking about first family, Nader Shah his FATHER getting power was planned by the brits.

Are you aware of that he is trolling you, right? More importantly, why is it so important to you that these land should be part of Afghanistan...?

Yeah dont know why I keep getting baited......

I dont want Baluchistan as its obvious that the one thing they want is their own nation (power to them for that). But in the past we should have gotten it so we would not be landlocked. When it comes to Pashtun I mean its Afghanistan's historic duty to reclaim those lands...... Though i've kind pretty much given up hope on this as most PakPashtuns seem to be more than happy with Pakistan, tho this can change with a stable Afghanistan.

Overall its not as relevant of a topic for Afghanistan today, but during Zaher Shah's time it should have been reclaimed..........

Ok, brother. Let me give you an example. Daud who tried to reclaim the land, what happened to him. I am not talking about the communist coup, but when he wanted to claim the other side of durand line. It wasn't Pakistani army who stood in his way, but tribal Pashtuns who started to check for Afghan nationals. And there weren't exactly any movement who started to support him for real inside Pashtun areas.

What is my point you may ask. My point is there isn't any ''historic duties''. Its all about what the people wants. The problems in Asia, middle east, Africa, East Europe, south Europe ets. are all due to people who want to impose on others. Imposing is a double edge sword, you may end up with the opposite of what you wanted(look at Pakistan, they wanted to remove Indian influence, but ended up with feeding Afghanistan with India themselves). Don't get me wrong, there isn't anything more I want than Pashtuns to be united, but if they don't want to, one have to let it go.

And to be frank and many people will probably be angry at me for saying this, but what Zahir shah should have done, was to recognize Pakistan when it was created and accept the durand line. It was clear as day from beginning that Pashtuns from the other side had no intentions to unite. I think it is a general think for Pashtuns from both side, that they really don't care about politics and want to be left alone, so they can live normal lives. It is perhaps also the reason why Pashtun nationalism is non existent in both sides.

Right now our first priority should be to stop the civil war. Remove warlords and criminals from power, which also means removing corruption. Improve the economy and bring justice to people. Improve relations with our neighbors and that includes Pakistan, Iran ets. To put it simply, focus internally rather than externally.

Actually that's was a legitimate post, if I wanted to troll someone, I usually write something inflammatory

People all too often assume that Baluch fight for freedom but somehow would abandon their freedom and identity to give into or cater our needs/wants.
