Default NATO Helps Afghan Interior Ministry Hire Human Capital and Expertise - 08-07-2015, 03:26 PM

Building capability and capacity is a top priority for Combined Security Transition Command Afghanistan and Resolute Support’s Subject Matter Expert Program does just that for Afghanistan’s Ministry of Interior.
Creating civilian positions not only adds continuity, but also provides the necessary technical and educated expertise needed to sustain an organization.Together with the Ministry, CSTC-A designed a program to create entry-level civilian jobs and hire technical experts to fill the positions. While the program had initially begun by providing workers mainly in the financial management and procurement areas, RS advisers throughout the MOI realized the value of SMEs.Positions were added in functional areas across the Ministry to include key areas such as logistics, procurement, human resources, and information technology. Resolute Support and MOI worked to approve 363 positions in more than 10 different functional areas.

Do you think technical and educated expertise will help MOI’s functionalities?

Very respectfully,
