Default NATO and U.S. Forces Enabling Afghan National Security Forces - 11-19-2013, 03:25 PM

Terrorism has no boundaries and is threatening both sides of the common border of Afghanistan, Pakistan. It is vital for National Security Forces of both countries to communicate and resolve their differences through shared information and mutual respect.
Afghan National Security Forces are in a much better position today and can secure the porous border with its neighboring countries. They have better equipment and vehicles to monitor and secure the borders in the rugged terrain. U.S. troops are mentoring border police officers in how to search and patrol the area's tree-covered mountains. Border police officers are more confident and motivated to protect their country and people. With a larger and better-trained border police force, the insurgency will continue to decrease on both sides of the borders and Afghanistan will be a better and more secure place to live.
What are some of the challenges Afghan National Security Forces are facing?

Very Respectfully,

Hashmat
