| One of the hurdle, or dare I say stalemate, that I guess is preventing me, is my dialect of Pashto. Unless Tor_Khan or someone else whom I've spoken or met in person can confirm they can fluently understand the dialect of Pashto that I speak. I personally can envision myself having a hard time understanding Pashto lectures if they are recorded from someone in Waziristan in their Pashto dialect. I wouldn't want a Pashto dictionary searching for each lughat they used. A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai
The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows! -Ferishta, 1560–1620 |

| It is a great initiative. We already have a number of video lectures on health related issues, physics, computer softwares uploaded to Youtube. http://www.facebook.com/pages/%D9%BE...24524447569940 http://www.youtube.com/user/tv1be1healthy1 http://www.youtube.com/user/PhysicsPashto http://www.youtube.com/user/mptseries http://www.youtube.com/user/tutsmedia http://www.youtube.com/user/mehrab35 Fluency and smoothness in accent would be very helpful - some one with a central accent would be perfect, if you can find it. |

| I don't think the dialect issue would be too much of a problem. Record it in your own natural dialect and possibly add Pakhto or English subtitles. If need be, you could just get someone from a different area to translate what you say in their dialect and have that dubbed over your video. I think you should still do it regardless. It is better that some people benefit than none at all. To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their own inclinations and desires. -Imam al Ghazali |
