| I find it sad that people care more about some statues rather than humans. When they were blown up everyone got angry but why were they not angry with the people's suffering? That never got broadcast did it....but these images of the statues are everywhere. Japan and Switzerland should be pledging development projects for the people, not some lifeless chunks of broken stone. Edit: I think their destruction could have been averted but what happened, happened. Should only worry about them when we sort ourselves out first.
