What's your opinion regarding marrying a divorced man or woman?

true, my fathers cousin was divorced ''mainly because of the stupidity of her own family'' and ended up marrying an old baba''because he promised her brother land, which turned out to be in the middle of the the desert without any water'' from Kandahar. the man already had 3 wives and more then 20 children.

when my father found out about it he almost had huge fight with her brother. poor women cant even have children know

I find that very disturbing. I am yet to see a male's stance on this.

what if she was to marry some one else other then her husbands brother. i personally think this is utterly stupid. the Jews have the same custom.

Of course, the widow is not compelled to marry her husband's brother or anyone else against her wishes.

When a woman marries she looks at her brother in laws as brothers not plan b. The transition is painful for both. I wish our elders realize that.

once a woman faces divorce it's really hard to find a suitor that is why many end up marrying an american or european ause they still respect them and are there very own age.

a man can marry 10 woman divorce all 10 even though 90percent of the time it's the mans fault for the divorce still we ladies are getting the bad deal. We are frowned at and we never get to marry again or we get proposals from people twice our age who just want us as sexual tools.
