I already hate how tajiks use the russian letters for their writings.. Just looking at it makes me mad...

Hey Pisho you did not present your arguments. You just say its stupid because you dont like the alphabets. Come on present some solid reasons that why it is stupid.

If there is a promblem using foreign alphabets for Pashto, why simply not invent an own alphabet that would be adapted?

By the way the Arabic and Roman alphabets both derive from the same one.
The good of the Arabic one is for sure that it is more easy for a Pashtun to learn afterwards Arabic and read the Quran in original. The bad may be problematics with the vowls. But roman alphabet is neither perfect as it doesn't have enough letters for Pashto, no?
So You would have these ugly mofified letters, its better having You own alphabet on this point or its possible to use those alphabets that were spread in acient times in the region like bactrian, sogdian , avestic scripts, or perhaps as Toramana said Kharoshthi?
