Word: Chini (sugar): Dari and Farsi. Drives from noochin. In Afghanistan our Hazara brothers have a fairy tale called buzak chini (sweet goat).

Bura is coming from India via Dari to us. I think in Pashtu we have the word shukr like in English sugar. http://agmarknet.nic.in/burasugargmr.pdf

Ghadi: gang
mornay: from mother-side
shpai mahal: night time
purwandah: nomad (instead of Koochi which is dari from farsi koochgar), related with puriwahim (to push) and puribasim (transportation)
shirdaghbly: radio

Can you do that?

Wal is not exclusive to pashto its sanscrit.
And Sanskrit is derived from Pashto. Both languages indo-european and share lots of similarities.

Zema andiwala, the word Andiwal cannot be split into separate words. For instance you said where the does the word andi come from? well its not a word of its own. The word andi and wal are interchangeable together and cannot be split into two.

My mom was a pashto teacher back in Afghanistan so i will ask her.

Even Adobe Photoshop can't change me.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Yes both are farsi

that's true, its better to compare it to actual farsi instead of dari since dari has adopted many pashto words.

Though I feel as if "garam" and "awal" are considered pashto words too, no?

hahaha go away.

Why don't you shed some light. Do you guys use the term "andiwal" in dari?
i think we should also write other forms of pashto words.

Word: Awal (first)
Language: Arabic
Pashto Term: Wrombay / ړومبى / لومړی

Word: Garam (warm)
Language: Farsi & Urdu
Pashto Term: Tod / تود / سور

Word: Sawal (question)
Language: Farsi & Urdu
Pashto Term: Pokhtana / پوښتنه

Word: Kapra (cloth)
Language: Urdu
Pashto Term: Rakht / رخت /.....rakht seems to be Dari as well or mayeb the other way around.
Pashto word for Cloth is ټوټه

Word: Sahi (correct)
Language: Urdu / farsi
Pashto Term: Sam / سم
