Brothels in Pakistan (on other side of Attock) are there since ancient times. But the prostitutes there are very ugly and dirty. Its not a booming industry like in the west. Only dirty, poor and base born persons visit those brothels opened in every corner of their cities.
in a joking way (take it lightly), how do you know so much about brothels lol?

Brothels can only be crushed when both the prostitutes and the men/boys who visit them are castrated IMO. It is the only solution for such a social ill.

Obviously, poverty and desperation compounded with patriarchy are factors contributing to this but the solution lies only in a ruthless elimination of it.

Castrating a bunch of guys and arresting prostitutes wont do anything when the factors that lead to women entering prostitution, or men using them, continue to exist. Especially in a country as corrupt as Pakistan. When everyone knows you can get away with any crime as long as you have enough money or know the right people, cracking down wont do anything. Fear of punishment only works when the punishment is applied in every case. If people feel they can circumvent the justice system, they'll try no matter how severe the punishment is.

You need a societal and cultural change.

A lot of prostitutes in Punjab do it because it's their family trade, not because they're dirt poor or desperate.

As for patriarchy, ultra liberal countries in Europe have already tried to legalize prostitution, foolishly thinking that giving women a choice and removing the "patriarchy" aspect of prostitution would solve the problem, and it only made things worse.

Just like i seem to know so much about Kalash people even though i have not visited the area. Brothels and prostitutes , which are in every Mohallah and corner of Punjab, is an open business. You must be curious how i know about their hygiene conditions and ugliness?, the answer is Pakistani TV programs, documentaries and newspapers. The crime and expose themes are popular programs on Pakistani TV channels.

Itís said to be the oldest known profession brother. It would take more than just castration to put and end it.

Prostitution is widespread in Pakistan because of these disgusting Heejray / Khusray cross dressing filth. As someone pointed out, it is their profession. Tragically, Pakistan is very much still culturally Hindu.

But in Iraq, that kind of thing isn't tolerated. I remember seeing a video of the Mahdi Army guys (Sadrists) captured a man pretending to be a woman. They ominously shaved his/her head then the video ends with a caption saying he/she then "disappeared".

Compare this to Pakistan where these Heejray are walking around openly. If Pakistan is Islamic why doesn't the government crack down on these people? Instead the government is moving to recognize their rights. It seems that we "Indic" people are just too soft and feminine, unlike Arabs and Afghans. I remember how much outrage Pakistani Muslims expressed when some Taliban guys flogged a woman guilty of adultery. They couldn't bare seeing a video of a Taliban flogging a woman (it was a very light flogging) 100 times.

The reality of Islam has not entered into the hearts of these people. Otherwise a true Muslim hates anything which Allah hates, especially adultery, sodomy, cross-dressing, pederasty and all other sexual perversions. But these Pakistanis spend their time listening to folk songs or watching Indian bollywood movies and it has made them extremely feminine and further away from the masculine Islamic culture that doesn't tolerate gays, but considers them worse than vermin to be exterminated at all costs.

The Pakistani Mulla is totally complacent in allowing for all these social ills. Why doesn't the Mulla preach against the Heejray / Khusray culture? Why is he more interested in going after other sects like Shias and Qadianis, while the Heejray are walking around right outside the mosque gates? If the Mulla wanted, he could launch a massive campaign of harassing these Heejray and making life hell on Earth for them, but he isn't interested in doing that.

P.S. I located the video of how Iraqis deal with a transgender I mentioned in my previous post

Ali, Transgendered Woman - Humiliated and Executed by Iraqi Police (Mirror) - YouTube

This is the difference between Arab/Islamic Iraq and Hinduized Pakistan

When we read "Pakistani" males, we might automatically assume them to be punjabi/mohajirs

think.... how many of these men are Pashtuns (let alone, Gul Khans atleast)....
