The grain contains lectins, a poisonous substance that damages the small intestines.

even if one buys wholegrain bread it can be made from genetically modified grains and the flour now, has vitamins added.
people have eaten breads, for centuries so i believe the problem is from new components in the wheat or the growing of it, not from the grain itself.
