I love shawarmas but I find that 95% of them are the same. I have only had ONE amazing shawarma, it was from a Palestinian guy named Ali. He had a place in Rexdale, used to go there allll the time, till one day homeboy just disappeared The shawarmas were thin and had no tomatoes, lettuce etc in it. And the sauce was heavenly I have been searching for the legendary Ali for more than a decade now...I must find him before I die

^ those types of shawarma are usually popular in the gulf region, all they had was chicken, garlic, pickels and fried chips in them. They taste great Here in torronto most shawarama places are run by Lebenase, they put a lot of extra things in their Shawarmas

I always used to get some cheap at this Lebanese place. It was really nice but incredibly greasy. ..and now i'm craving some too....thanks for that Karachi To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their own inclinations and desires. -Imam al Ghazali
