| No dear we people don't take qawa or shna chai. We like black to the extent. I myself a bigger lover of black tea but green tea does not go down my throat. But if someone make it then I have to take it. |

| Right now, I love mint tea - I take it even more than green tea. When I was in Afghanistan and Pakistan, last year, I think half the time I was served tea, it was mint tea. You are right Badmashkhel. It is really refreshing. This morning however, we were getting close to peshmanai پیشمني ending and it meant that I had to tip half my tea .All day without tea ... hmmm. |

| Ice tea is the only tea drink I like. Make shna chai as you normallly would, except don't fill the glass with hot water; only add enough to cover a teabag. Let it infuse for a minute, then stir. Then add cold water and sugar of your choice (5 teaspoons~3-4 tablespoons for me) and refridgerate until you want to drink it. Black tea, mint tea and any other tea can also be made like this. Pro-Black is Pro-Righteous! |

| I haven't had mint tea before. I hate mint leaves. If I have toorwe, I insist that it has no mint leaves so its just cucumber with watery yoghurt. The only time I think it's acceptable is when its dried and broken up sprinkled on top of mantu or shola. Otherwise I try to avoid it. | Here in the gulf order of popularity observed by me: Karak chai, never heard of it before, but its black tea with thick condensed milk (Indian) Torchai aka sulaimani - plain Lipton black tea (Arabs) Shai bil na'na' - black tea + few mint leaves, sugar (Arabs) Shduchai - Lipton, milk, sugar (Pakistanis) Moroccan mint tea - hot water and bush of mint (Arabs and others) Me, live on shinchai, no sugar, but with noklbadami Interestingly I observed in Jordan, the Bedouin there served me 'shai' or black tea with sage. |
