| Infact, I more or less prefer to watch only horror movies though I don't. Recently I feel there has been no decent one this year. None of them manage to scare me now, but when I was like 6 or 7, a few movies creeped me out namely The Omen and End of the Days. I watched Excorcist at 13, so I wasn't reallly scared. I find most horror movies funny and the antagonists are always an influence for me. I love Jason, Freddy, Leatherface, all of them but most of all, Damien. He is the coolest and most awesome. | I can never decide a favorite, but I LOVE Scream - all of them. Paranormal Activity (the last 3) could have been better. The Hills Have Eyes is a classic, so is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I love Devil's Advocate. Pro-Black is Pro-Righteous! |

| I am not a huge fan of horror movies if they contain too much mindless gore, blood, violance without a good story. Some of my fav horror movies are The Ring (japanese one) Old boy (korean) The Audition (japanese) The Shinning (love jack nickelson's acting in this one) The Descent (first one is great, second one not that great) SAW, only the first few ones many more but can't remember now. |

| I haven't seen many horror films but those that I have, I did not find scary at all. Maybe i'll try some of those listed here. To advise others is an easy matter, the difficulty is accepting advice -- since it is bitter for those who follow their own inclinations and desires. -Imam al Ghazali |

| Hakim if you don't mind reading subtitles than I can suggest many good European horror movies. The French have perfected the art of making very perverse and revolting horror fims. My favourite is Martyrs. Very high gore factor. Best thing is that unlike most other movies of the genre, this one makes one think about many life and death issues. Other French Horror movies that come to my mind are : À l'intérieur, Haute Tension, Baise Moi, Dans Ma Peau, Sheitan. Most of these are gore flicks. If you like something with mystery/psychological horror you can watch Caché. A Good zombie flick that I can remember right now is [Rec]. It's in Spanish. I can suggest more from Asian Cinema. But like I said, they won't be much fun if you dislike subtitles |

I have watched a few French movies, but they weren't horror. I didn't even know the French made horror movies. I will check some of the ones you listed out. Au contraire, mon cheri. I love subtitles (I even watch English and Hindi movies with subtitles) and I understand French so that won't be a problem. The Koreans, Japanese and Thai make good horror movies.
