Both the interviewer and the man are speaking Urdu. The other woman (with the gun) is speaking Pashto. What is the need for the man? lol |

arent they chatrali? i mean the guy btw we got thousands of women in afghanistan who fought with swords and some are unforgetable like Malalai and Nazo ana |

he could be speaking a third language. I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me. non commercial would cost less if he was in charge himself which he plans on doing. right now it's n herat but soon it will be in qanadahar. |

The guys looks and sounds like someone from Gilgit-Baltistan. I've heard the Balti language plenty of times and it definitely sounds something like that. Perhaps the woman is also familiar with their language? Everything's propaganda nowadays, eh.  FYI, it's anti-Taliban, and if you think that anything that's anti-Taliban is Pakistan propaganda, then you obviously don't know Pakistan's role in nurturing the Taliban. Neither do you admit the crimes that the Taliban have committed against innocent Pashtuns and others. Go to Swat and check it for yourself. Anyway, the female interviewer is definitely speaking Urdu. The "translator" is speaking some other language, definitely not Pashto or Urdu. The female answerer is definitely speaking Pashto. Obviously, they couldn't find a Pashto-speaking translator, so they went for a non-Pashto "translator" whose language the Pasht-speaking woman seems to understand. However, while she understand the language he talks to her in, she perhaps doesn't know how to speak it, or so it seems. This is normal and credible, because there are certain languages that I myself can understand but can't speak in fluently (yet). Spanish is one of them. So sometimes, we might fully understand what's being said, but we don't speak the language well enough so we don't talk or respond in it. I don't see why this video has to be interpreted as making fun of Pashto or Pashtuns. The woman is not alone is being anti-Taliban; I don't know of any Pashtuns from her area or nearby regions who are supportive of Taliban, so it makes sense. In fact, KhyberWatch is currently working on acknowledging and rewarding women who spoke/speak against the Taliban and who stood up against these violent beasts by fighting them physically and directly. Bless KW for this kind effort of theirs! |
