PESHAWAR, (APP): Al-Khadmat Foundation inaugurated a Model Village of 60 homes and a mosque at Alam Khan Garrhi, Tarnab area for flood affected people.The construction work in this connection would be completed in short span, a spokesman of the foundation told APP here on Saturday.Siraj-ul-Haq Ex-senior Minister of Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa was the chief guest on this occasion.Speaking on this occasion, he said the Foundation is first to take steps on emergency basis in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said the foundation worked dedicatedly during the relief work. He said now in the rehabilitation, the foundation decided to construct model homes village in which a total of 60 holes would be constructed as for the flood affected people.
In the first phase 60 homes will be constructed at Alam Garhi with the total cost of Rs.114 million. Inside the village Al-Quasar Masque will be constructed with the cost of Rs. 1.8 million, he added. Al-Khadmat Foundation will construct 2000 homes in province, Siraj-ul-Haq added.
Ex-MNA Sabir Hussain Awan, in-charge of the rehabilitation project Israrullah Advocate and others foundation worker and flood affected people of the area were present.
