This is the section for Creative writing and Research. I think we should either ignore a write up here if we cant or dont want to comment or support, refute, criticize, analyze the posts with some intellectual stuff with the spirit of learning and sharing.
For example one can agree here with the fact that Israel is really a model for Pashtuns, Arabs and Muslims or may argue otherwise. We can either approve the facts given in the post or prove that these facts are not correct and Israel is not the best state in Middle East in economy, politics, education, science and technology.
Israel's economic growth: Success without security - 03-04-2011, 10:06 AM
This is really impressive that Israel inspite of all the security issues has emerged the greatest country at least in the Middle East and has very good ranking in different parameters o international standards.
While economic development theorists generally hold that security is a prerequisite for economic growth, Israelís war-torn history has not prevented it from creating a strong, modern, and diversified economy, one which rivals European countries instead of its neighbors in the region.
Israel today ranks third in the world in the number of university graduates per capita, after the United States and the Netherlands. It possesses the highest per capita number of scientists in the world, with 135 for every 10,000 citizens (compared to 85 per 10,000 in the United States), and publishes the highest number of scientific papers per capita.According to one recent survey, almost 81 percent of Israelis own cell phones, placing it sixth in the world. Another survey found that 54 percent of Israelis own personal computers, in comparison to only 42 percent of U.S. respondents.

Osho this isn't creative thinking, its like looking at a nice car and saying if i have a nice car i would be happy too.
Israel is the worst example, a better example would be Turkey which i think has developed ideally both as an Islamic and democratic society..There are tons of other welfare societies like Canada, Norway that would be an ideal model for Afghanistan and muslims in general who have been continuously haunted by ethnic issues.
Israel is a fickle state, one that hasn't be able to contribute in any way to the world peace or its advancement.

I'm not really sure how it goes
But it's sad and it's sweet and I knew it complete
When I wore a younger man's clothes."

One can say the same as you, Pakistan is a worst example of Islam mixed with Punjabi/Indian Mojjahir Nationalism.
You and Israel are the only newly founded states that follow a Ideology.
but sadly its Pakistan who has failed and will be a failure for the rest of its existance. Israel on the other hand has over 20 percent Arab population, besides being insulted by Radical Rabbis, I have yet to see a single Israeli f16 bomb their homes while on the other hand Pakistan does it daily to Pashtuns.
Plus I find it as a Oxy-moron to hear a Pakistani talk about another state contributing nothing to world peace, Talal, every terrorist on this planet, 8/10 have had or are living in Pakistan. Pakistan have contributed the mass murder of 1000s of people around the globe through bigotry.
I have yet to see a country on this planet whose police places roses around the neck of a assassin(Qadri). Recently in the UK, Dispatches disclosed under cover footage of Pakistani males inciting hatred, show me a single synagogue or church anywhere in the Civilised world who preach similar things?.

Yes I agree and I have stated many times that the whole developed world of which Norway is a member , specially G8 or at least G20 (Turkey)should be the model states for Pashtuns and Afghanistan, Pakistan or the Muslim world. Turkey is ideal as being Muslim, secular and member of G20. Another good example is Malaysia.
Here Israel is taken as an example because this state because of so many hindrances has remarkable success stories specially in economy, education, democracy and science. This is the only democracy in the whole Arab world. Israel can be a model specially for the Arab world. No Arab country can prove itself better than Israel in any field.
