well, she has a cup in her hand and tears in her eyes. what do you think she wants? the other one is laying in bare ground and the third one holding on to a log, hasn't had anyone take care of her the way a child should be looked after in years. that is sad, not beautiful.

possibly just your own projections. if you knew anything about children, they cry for many reasons, sometimes for the purpose of manipulation.
kids play in the dust and get dirty. doesn't mean they are not loved or cared for.
put off your trip to india and go do some volunteer work with children in afghanstan.
even i volunteered to work with kids in afghanistan, 3 times, but got no reply. probably thought i was too old
